Your newspaper boy, your milkman, your maid, and all the important people who take care of your daily needs to be alerted about your transit so that they do not have to stand at your doorstep waiting for you to turn up.

Sit down and make a list of the people who have to be paid as you will not see them once you move out of the place.

It is normal to forget things when you have so much on mind. But this A to Z list would help you to keep track with things that cannot be left out.

2. Plan in advance

When you take time and plan in advance, things, work well. You might think there is a lot of time left, and you can do everything the night before you move out.

Some people feel that it’s ok to get things done later, but at the last minute, you have no time, and it’s a mess.

It is always recommended that you start 2-3 weeks in advance all the tasks in hand. Packing is one of the most time-consuming tasks and so, start it earlier in advance. You should consider certain things before buying an apartment in Kerala.

3. Boxes, and boxes

You will need a lot of boxes. Small and big ones. It is good to have big boxes, but not necessary that the big ones have the capacity to hold all the luggage together.

If you are not careful, it might give away when you move out. And, you will end up in a mess. Spend some money and buy a few boxes that are sturdy and do not give away with ease.

Small boxes are also good to pack smaller items together.

Also, once you move to your new place you do not have to worry about the waste, you will accumulate because of the boxes.

You can organize a campaign as in the foreign countries where people distribute these to those who are in need of such boxes for free.

It is a reusable technique that helps to protect the environment.

4. Packing for quick access

Whenever you are packing, it is necessary that you keep things within your reach. Just put a star mark or stick a label that contains the name of the items inside each of these boxes.

Things like towels, sheets, and curtains are something that you need immediately as you move to your new house.

And, if you have labeled the box you can easily find out what is kept where.

5. Don’t pack air

People think that it is better to carry chests and dressers without filling them up. Do you think the will be lighter to carry when filled with air?

Never commit that mistake! Stuff in all that you can find so that these chests and dressers don’t go empty. You can fill it will linen, so that it would be lighter to carry these.

6. Use trash bags
